Psychological Research & Development Council is a registered NGO, with an objective to improve the quality of life of the people and to promote the mental, social, emotional and interpersonal well being of the individuals and communities by empowering existing community resources. We aim to facilitate the development of effective mental health interventions by building partnerships, disseminating and synthesizing knowledge, enabling learning, and leveraging resources. Our team consists of mental health innovators like  Psychologists, Social Workers, Counsellors, Therapists, Educationalists and Trainers along with a network of Volunteers. We have an educational institution which creates a fleet of social scientists and a well-equipped Psychological Counselling Centre which supports people from all age groups without any barriers. Our Team conducting a wide range of workshops, training, camps, campaigns and awareness seminars for the public in association with Governmental and Non-governmental organizations.

PRDC in Kerala Floods 2018
The volunteers of PRDC with its executive members conducted a need analysis for the psycho-social response survey organized by Cosmic Community Center (CCC) in association with Humanitarian Aid International (HAI). Our team of Psychologists and counsellors were visited the flood affected houses and arranged counselling sessions in their houses and relief camps too. We also conducted training workshops on Psychological First Aid for Teachers and School Counselors organized by Social Justice Department.  Team PRDC played a vital role for the psycho social intervention and rehabilitation works organized by CCC and HAI. Our team conducted many training and awareness workshops for teachers as well as students in the view of PTSD.
